Mewp Operator – Hs2 – Saltley 🚨

📍 Location: Saltley, Birmingham 🏗️ Project: HS2 👷 Position: MEWP Operator 📅 Start: Immediate ⏳ Duration: Long-term 💷 Rate: £19.00 - £22.00 Per Hour (Depending on experience)

We are currently looking for an experienced MEWP Operator to join an established team working on a major HS2 project in Saltley, Birmingham.📋

Requirements

✅ Valid IPAF 3a amp; 3b qualification – essential ✅ HS2 inducted – essential ✅ Previous experience operating MEWPs on major construction/civils projects ✅ Good understanding of safe MEWP operations and site procedures ✅ Able to carry out pre-use checks and operate machinery safely ✅ Good understanding of working at height requirements ✅ Strong health amp; safety awareness ✅ Previous HS2 experience highly desirable

🛠️Responsibilities:

Operating MEWPs safely and efficiently across site Carrying out daily pre-use inspections and safety checks Positioning and operating equipment in accordance with site requirements Supporting construction and civils teams with access at height Maintaining safe working areas and exclusion zones Following RAMS and site-specific lifting/MEWP procedures Reporting any defects or issues with plant immediately Working closely with supervisors and other site operatives
