MIG Welder Fabricator

£17.50p/h DOE, Perm Role, Mon-Fri, OT at 1.5 up to 10hrs plus a week. Flexible Start/Finish Times, Weekly Pay, Clean Modern Workshop, Free Onsite Parking.

This is a hands-on MIG Welder Fabricator role, working on a diverse range of engineering projects, including fabrication, refurbishment, structural modifications, and specialist equipment installations.

Key Responsibilities of the MIG Welder Fabricator

Fabrication and assembly of heavy vehicle components and bespoke body structures MIG welding heavy plate materials up to 15mm in multiple positions Alterations and modification work. Refurbishment and repair of existing vehicle bodies Checking dimensions and alignment throughout the build process Supporting production deadlines while maintaining a high standard of finish Skills & Experience Required for the MIG Welder Fabricator role

Strong MIG welder skills with experience in heavy fabrication The ability to weld vertically Experience working with commercial or heavy vehicles would be advantageous Ability to work from technical drawings and specifications Good understanding of health and safety within a workshop environment Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Organised approach with good attention to detail
