We are recruiting for an experienced Mig Welder to work for our client who are located in York

The Duties Of A Welder

• Fabrication & Welding: Read and interpret engineering drawings to cut, shape, and weld metal parts (typically mild/stainless steel) using standard workshop techniques.

• Assembly Support: Help construct and fit heavy-duty machinery frames, hoppers, and mechanical assemblies.

• Quality & Accuracy: Inspect finished welds and components against technical specifications and quality standards.

• Workshop Maintenance: Keep tools, welding equipment, and the work area clean, safe, and organized

Essential Experiences & Skills

• Minimum 2 years' experience working within a high precision manufacturing background

• Excellent communication skills

The Hours

Working on days – Monday – Friday 7.30 to 4.30

The Pay

You will earn an hourly rate of up to £17 an hour depending on experience.
