About the company An established sheet metal fabrication company in Aldermans Green, Coventry. The business is busy and growing, with a small, close-knit team, and they’re looking for a skilled MIG welder to join them long-term.

The role

• MIG welding sheet metal fabrications from 1.0mm to 6mm

• Working mainly in mild steel and stainless steel, with some aluminium

• Some TIG welding on precision work

• Fabricating and assembling components from engineering drawings

• Producing neat, accurate welds to a high standard of finish

• Checking your own work for quality and accuracy

What they’re looking for

• Around 5 years’ MIG welding experience, ideally on thin to medium gauge sheet metal

• Confident welding mild steel and stainless; aluminium experience is a plus

• Some TIG experience is an advantage

• Able to read and work from engineering drawings

• Takes pride in a clean, precise finish

• Reliable, punctual and works well in a team

• Own transport is preferred, due to the location
