Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed short-term and long-term mine production plans.
• Optimize mine layout, sequencing, and equipment utilization for maximum efficiency.
• Conduct geological modeling and resource estimation to inform planning decisions.
• Coordinate with survey, geology, and operations teams to ensure plan implementation.
• Monitor production progress against plans and make necessary adjustments.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements in mine planning.

Requirements

• Degree in Mining Engineering, Geological Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in mine planning and production roles.
• Proficiency with mine planning software (e.g., Surpac, Vulcan, Deswik).
• Strong understanding of mining methods, geology, and surveying principles.
• Experience with blast design and fragmentation analysis is advantageous.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to work collaboratively.
