About the Role

Our client is looking for a seasoned Mine Project Manager to lead significant initiatives from their base in Oxford, Oxfordshire . This hybrid role requires a strategic and results-oriented individual to oversee all phases of mining projects, from conception and planning through execution and closure. You will manage budgets, schedules, resources, and stakeholder relationships to ensure project success, safety, and profitability. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of mining projects from initiation to completion.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Oversee project execution, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Manage project risks, identify potential issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate effectively with internal teams (operations, engineering, geology) and external stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress, provide regular reports to senior management, and ensure project objectives are met.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree or PMP certification preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management within the mining sector , with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
• Strong knowledge of mining operations, project lifecycles, and relevant technologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with project management software and methodologies.
• Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment, effectively managing remote planning and on-site supervision.
