Our client is seeking a meticulous and experienced Mine Surveyor to support operations in Belfast . Key Responsibilities

• Conduct precise surveys of mine interiors and exteriors using advanced surveying equipment and techniques.
• Establish and maintain survey control networks for underground and surface operations.
• Prepare detailed survey plans, cross-sections, and reports for engineering and management purposes.
• Monitor ground movement and subsidence, providing early warnings of potential risks.
• Assist in the planning and execution of drilling and blasting patterns based on accurate spatial data.
• Maintain survey records and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Degree or HND/HNC in Surveying, Mining Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Mine Surveyor or in a similar surveying role within the mining industry.
• Proficiency with total stations, GPS/GNSS receivers, laser scanners, and associated software (e.g., AutoCAD, Carlson Survey).
• Strong understanding of mine geometry, geodetic principles, and spatial data management.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in measurement and data recording.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a mining team.
