About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Mine Surveyor to contribute to their operations near Norwich . This role is vital for accurately mapping underground and surface mine workings, ensuring precise control of excavations, and monitoring ground movement. You will utilize advanced surveying equipment and techniques to provide critical spatial data for mine planning, operations, and geological interpretation. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct accurate surface and underground surveys of mine workings and infrastructure.
• Establish and maintain control networks for mining operations.
• Prepare detailed survey plans, sections, and reports for mine planning and management.
• Monitor ground movement and deformation using appropriate surveying instruments and methods.
• Perform volume calculations and assist with resource estimation based on survey data.
• Ensure all surveying activities comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• HND or Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in mine surveying or a related field.
• Proficiency with modern surveying equipment, including total stations, GPS/GNSS, and laser scanners.
• Experience with surveying software for data processing and drafting (e.g., AutoCAD, Carlson Survey).
• Strong understanding of coordinate systems and geodetic principles.
• Ability to work in both field and office settings as part of a hybrid arrangement near Norwich .
