Our Pulse Team is the heartbeat of Leightons.

Made up of highly skilled Dispensing Opticians and Optometrists, the team provides support across our network, covering holidays, additional clinics, practice projects and short-term business needs.

More Than Dispensing

At Leightons, our Dispensing Opticians are trusted experts.

You'll take ownership of the dispensing journey, providing personalised consultations and helping patients find eyewear that perfectly matches their prescription, lifestyle and personal style.

Whether you're recommending lenses, fitting frames or helping a patient discover a look that boosts their confidence, you'll play a vital role in creating the exceptional experience we're known for.

It's why our patients return time and time again.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who combines clinical expertise with a genuine passion for people.

You'll be:

• A fully qualified and GOC-registered Dispensing Optician

• Passionate about providing exceptional patient care

• A confident and engaging communicator

• Customer-focused and consultative in your approach

• Adaptable and comfortable working across multiple locations

• Organised, professional and self-motivated

• In possession of a full UK driving licence

Most importantly, you'll share our belief that every patient deserves expert advice, genuine care and an experience tailored to them.

Why Leightons?

Since 1928, we've remained proudly independent, building a reputation for clinical excellence, outstanding customer care and a people-first culture.

Today, our network of unique practices combines the very best of independent optics with a supportive, collaborative environment where colleagues are encouraged to grow and thrive.

Join the Pulse Team and you'll enjoy the freedom of a mobile role, the support of an established business and the opportunity to make a real impact across multiple communities.
