The OpportunityAre you an experienced Mobile Plant Fitter with strong telehandler experience looking for your next opportunity? We're recruiting a Mobile Plant Fitter to join an established team, primarily working on telehandlers, with occasional maintenance and repair work on diggers and dumpers.

The Role

Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a range of telehandlers. Working on other plant machinery, including occasional diggers and dumpers. Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults. Attending customer sites across the Midlands. Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs. Ensuring machinery is maintained to a safe, reliable and operational standard. Managing your own workload and completing jobs efficiently. Working closely with the wider engineering team. Travelling across the region, with occasional overnight stays where required.Areas Covered: Wellingborough, Northampton, Kettering, Corby, Rushden, Daventry, Towcester, Leicester, Market Harborough, Loughborough, Nottingham, Derby, Bedford, Milton Keynes, Luton, Rugby, Coventry and Birmingham.

Previous hands-on experience servicing, maintaining and repairing telehandlers. Strong mechanical, electrical and hydraulic fault-finding skills. The ability to work independently and manage your own workload. Flexibility to cover the wider Midlands region. Willingness to undertake occasional overnight stays. A full UK driving licence.Salary & Benefits Basic salary: Up to £18.50 per hour (£37,518 per annum). OTE with 10 hours' overtime per week: £51,948. OTE with 20 hours' overtime per week: £66,378. Overtime paid at 1.5x. Typically 10–20 hours of overtime available per week. Door-to-door pay. Company van and fuel card. 39-hour working week, Monday to Friday. 23 days' annual leave plus bank holidays. One-week Christmas shutdown. Occasional overnight stays required.
