The Role

As a National Heavy Plant Engineer / Field Service Engineer / Mobile Plant Engineer, you'll be responsible for:

Servicing, maintaining and repairing a wide range of heavy plant and construction equipment Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and diesel faults Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs Attending customer sites across the UK to provide professional field-based engineering support Working on equipment such as excavators, telehandlers, dumpers, loaders, rollers, dozers and other construction plant Managing your own workload, parts and travel as an experienced Mobile Plant Engineer Providing excellent customer service and ensuring machinery is returned to operation safely and efficiently

What We're Looking For

Proven experience as a Heavy Plant Engineer, Plant Fitter, Field Service Engineer, Mobile Plant Engineer or Heavy Equipment Technician NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance or similar (Preferred) Strong mechanical, electrical and hydraulic fault-finding skills Experience working on construction plant, heavy equipment or agricultural machinery A self-motivated engineer who enjoys working independently and solving technical problems Full UK driving licence Flexibility to travel nationwideHeavy Plant Engineer, Plant Fitter, Field Service Engineer, Mobile Plant Engineer, Heavy Equipment Engineer, Construction Plant Engineer, Service Engineer, Plant Technician, Mobile Plant Fitter, Heavy Equipment Technician, Agricultural Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Hydraulic Engineer, Field Technician, Mobile Service Engineer, Engineer Jobs UK, Nationwide Engineer
