About the Role
Our client is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Modern Foreign Languages Teacher specializing in French and Spanish to join their vibrant school community in Oxford . This role is vital in fostering students' linguistic skills, cultural understanding, and global awareness. You will deliver engaging language lessons across various age groups, encouraging fluency and confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality French and Spanish lessons to students at different levels.
- Develop students' proficiency in all four language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
- Create an immersive and encouraging classroom environment that promotes language acquisition and cultural appreciation.
- Assess student progress through regular testing, coursework, and interactive activities.
- Organise and lead extracurricular language activities or exchanges to enhance student experience.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Fluency in both French and Spanish , with experience teaching at least one at secondary level.
- A strong understanding of language pedagogy and curriculum requirements.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
- A passion for languages and intercultural understanding.
