Modern Foreign Languages Teacher - French and Spanish

About the Role

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and proficient Modern Foreign Languages Teacher to teach French and Spanish to secondary school students in Norwich . This role involves fostering a love for languages and equipping students with the linguistic skills and cultural understanding needed to communicate effectively. You will deliver engaging and interactive lessons, utilizing a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and abilities. Key Responsibilities

• Teach French and Spanish to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Plan and deliver dynamic and effective language lessons that promote speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
• Create engaging learning materials and activities, including authentic cultural resources.
• Assess student progress through a variety of methods, providing timely and constructive feedback.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel confident to practice and develop their language skills.
• Collaborate with other language teachers to share best practices and resources.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Fluency in both French and Spanish , with a strong command of English.
• Experience teaching modern foreign languages at the secondary level.
• Knowledge of the national curriculum for modern foreign languages.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Passion for language learning and cultural understanding.
