About the Role
Our client is actively seeking a proactive and customer-focused Mortgage Advisor to join their expanding team in Milton Keynes . You will be responsible for guiding clients through the entire mortgage application process, from initial consultation to final offer. This role requires a deep understanding of the mortgage market and a commitment to providing tailored advice that meets individual client needs. Working within a supportive environment, you'll play a key role in helping clients achieve their homeownership dreams within the UK's competitive property and finance market .
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough client needs assessments to understand their financial situation and property goals.
- Advise clients on a range of mortgage products and services from various lenders.
- Process mortgage applications efficiently, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates throughout the application journey.
- Liaise with lenders, brokers, and other relevant parties to facilitate smooth mortgage completion.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends, regulatory changes, and new mortgage products.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Mortgage Advisor or in a similar financial advisory role.
- Possession of CeMAP (Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice) or equivalent qualification is essential.
- Excellent understanding of the UK mortgage market, associated regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively and meet challenging targets in the Milton Keynes area.
