About the Role
Our client is seeking a customer-focused and knowledgeable Mortgage Advisor to join their thriving business, operating remotely with clients nationwide. You will be responsible for guiding clients through the entire mortgage application process, from initial consultation to completion, ensuring they find the best possible financial solutions. This role requires exceptional communication skills and a deep understanding of the mortgage market to provide tailored advice and achieve client satisfaction. As a fully remote position, you will benefit from the flexibility to work from home while making a significant impact on clients' home-buying journeys.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed client needs assessments to understand their financial situation and borrowing requirements.
- Advise clients on a range of mortgage products, explaining features, benefits, and risks clearly.
- Source and recommend suitable mortgage and protection products from various lenders.
- Assist clients in completing mortgage and related application forms accurately and efficiently.
- Manage client relationships throughout the process, providing regular updates and support.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Mortgage Advisor or in a similar financial advisory role.
- Relevant qualifications such as CeMAP (Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice) or equivalent.
- In-depth knowledge of the UK mortgage market and associated regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage a high volume of applications and work independently in a remote setting.
