About the Role

Our client, a reputable financial services firm, is seeking a qualified and proactive Mortgage Advisor to join their growing team in Portsmouth . You will provide expert advice on mortgage products and financial planning to a diverse client base, helping them secure the best possible financing for their property aspirations. This hybrid role allows for flexibility, combining client consultations in the office and potentially remotely, with essential fieldwork. You will play a crucial role in building trusted relationships and guiding clients through complex financial decisions within the Hampshire region.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess client financial needs and recommend suitable mortgage products.
• Provide comprehensive advice on buy-to-let, first-time buyer, and remortgaging options.
• Process mortgage applications efficiently, liaising with lenders and third parties.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the mortgage market, regulations, and product changes.
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients and referral partners.

Requirements

• CeMAP qualification (or equivalent) is essential.
• Proven experience as a Mortgage Advisor .
• Strong understanding of mortgage products and the wider financial services industry.
• Excellent communication, sales, and customer service skills .
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid office and remote environment.
