About the Role

Our client is looking for a driven and customer-focused Mortgage Advisor to join their busy team in Liverpool . You will be responsible for guiding clients through the mortgage application process, from initial consultation to completion, ensuring they find the best financial solutions tailored to their needs. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, a thorough understanding of the mortgage market, and a commitment to providing exceptional service. You will play a vital role in helping individuals and families achieve their homeownership goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed client needs assessments to understand their financial situation and property aspirations.
• Advise clients on a range of mortgage products and protection policies from various lenders.
• Process mortgage applications accurately and efficiently, liaising with lenders, brokers, and other parties.
• Maintain a deep understanding of the mortgage market, interest rates, and regulatory changes.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
• Meet and exceed agreed sales targets and performance indicators.

Requirements

• Relevant mortgage qualifications (e.g., CeMAP, Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice).
• Proven track record in mortgage advising or financial services sales.
• Strong knowledge of mortgage products, underwriting criteria, and the property market.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and sales skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a pipeline of clients effectively.
