About the Role
Our client, a reputable financial services firm, is seeking a dedicated and qualified Mortgage Advisor to join their expanding team, offering services across Stoke-on-Trent and beyond. This remote role allows you to work from the comfort of your own home while providing expert mortgage and protection advice to a diverse client base. You will be responsible for understanding clients' financial situations, identifying suitable mortgage products, and guiding them through the application process to achieve their homeownership goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the mortgage market and a commitment to providing exceptional client service in the Staffordshire area .
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive mortgage and protection needs assessments with clients.
- Research and recommend suitable mortgage products and protection plans from a range of providers.
- Prepare and submit mortgage applications accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of mortgage products, policies, and industry regulations.
- Build and nurture relationships with clients, providing clear and professional advice throughout the process.
- Collaborate with estate agents and other referral partners to generate business.
Requirements
- Full CeMAP (Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice) qualification or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Mortgage Advisor , ideally with a strong understanding of the UK mortgage market.
- Excellent understanding of mortgage products, equity release, and protection insurance.
- Strong sales, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a remote workload effectively.
- Adherence to regulatory compliance and ethical selling practices is essential.
