You should hold a relevant City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 engineering qualification, alongside 17th or 18th Edition electrical certification. An HNC is also listed as essential for the position. You will also need:

Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills Experience working with PLCs, HMIs, DCS or SCADA systems Familiarity with instrument calibration Practical mechanical maintenance capabilities The confidence to work independently during shift periods A strong understanding of health, safety and safe isolation procedures Good communication, planning and problem-solving skillsWhat you'll get in return You will join a technically challenging, process-driven manufacturing environment where no two shifts are the same. You will have the opportunity to develop your knowledge of specialist production equipment, automated systems, instrumentation and complex manufacturing processes. You will become part of an established engineering function, working alongside both electrical and mechanical engineers and receiving support from the wider on-call engineering team when required. The role offers the opportunity to take ownership of fault diagnosis, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and build valuable experience within a global manufacturing organisation.
