Multi-Skilled Voids Operatives Locations: Derby / Derbyshire and Sheffield / South Yorkshire Pay: Hourly CIS, depending on experience Contract: Ongoing Work

About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for multiple experienced Multi-Skilled Voids Operatives to carry out repairs and maintenance on empty social housing properties across Derbyshire and South Yorkshire. Previous experience working on social housing void properties is essential. Candidates must be genuinely multi-skilled, able to work independently and confident completing a range of repairs to bring properties up to the required standard.

Key Responsibilities

* Carrying out joinery and general carpentry. * Completing plumbing repairs. * Undertaking kitchen and bathroom repairs. * Tiling, patch plastering and making good. * Completing flooring, internal doors, skirtings and ironmongery. * Carrying out decorating and finishing works. * Completing general property repairs and snagging. * Working from schedules of work and providing photographic evidence of completed jobs.

Requirements

* Proven experience working on social housing void properties. * Multi-skilled across a range of trades. * Own van and tools. * CSCS card or relevant trade qualifications. * Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. * Good understanding of property repairs and voids standards. * Ability to work productively and complete work to a high standard. Experience working to Schedule of Rates (SOR) or NHF rates would be advantageous.
