Location: Taunton, Somerset Pay: £22.00 £23.00 per hour Contract: 6-month fixed term Potential: Opportunity to go permanent Benefits: Company van + fuel card We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi-Trade Operative to join a Building Repairs & Maintenance team based in Taunton . This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled tradesperson looking for a 6-month fixed-term contract , with the potential to move into a permanent position at the end of the contract. The RoleYou will be responsible for carrying out a range of repairs and maintenance works across properties in Taunton and the surrounding area. We are looking for someone with a qualified trade background in either Carpentry or Plumbing , who is also confident undertaking general multi-trade repairs. Key Responsibilities Carry out general building repairs and maintenance. Complete repairs within properties and customers' homes. Undertake works within your core trade of Carpentry or Plumbing . Carry out general multi-trade duties as required. Diagnose faults and complete repairs to a high standard. Work safely and professionally at all times. Provide excellent customer service. About You Recognised qualification in Carpentry or Plumbing . Previous experience in building repairs and maintenance. Strong multi-trade skills. Able to successfully complete a DBS check . Full UK driving licence. Good communication and customer service skills. Able to work independently and manage a varied workload.
