About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented and versatile Music Producer & Sound Engineer to join their renowned recording studio in Nottingham . You will be responsible for managing recording sessions, engineering sound, mixing tracks, and providing creative input to help artists achieve their sonic vision. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and engineer recording sessions for musicians and artists, ensuring optimal sound capture.
• Operate and maintain studio recording equipment, including microphones, consoles, and digital audio workstations (DAWs).
• Mix and master audio tracks to professional standards, ensuring clarity, balance, and sonic impact.
• Provide creative production input, collaborating with artists on song arrangements, instrumentation, and overall sound.
• Manage session schedules and ensure efficient use of studio time and resources.
• Troubleshoot technical issues that may arise during recording or mixing sessions.

Requirements

• Proven experience (5+ years) as a Music Producer and/or Sound Engineer in a professional recording studio setting.
• Strong proficiency with industry-standard DAWs (e.g., Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Ableton Live) and audio hardware.
• Excellent understanding of audio engineering principles, mixing techniques, and mastering processes.
• Demonstrated ability to work with diverse musical genres and artists.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with artists and guide creative sessions.
• A keen ear for detail and a passion for creating high-quality music productions.
