Who They Are
Our client is a rapidly growing branded food manufacturer supplying major retailers, foodservice operators and commercial partners across the UK. With a strong focus on plant-based innovation, sustainability and responsible business practices, they have built a reputation for quality products and ambitious growth. Their entrepreneurial culture gives people the opportunity to make a real contribution whilst working alongside experienced and commercially driven colleagues.
This is the sort of role that gives you genuine ownership rather than simply another customer portfolio to manage.
You will take responsibility for a growing Foodservice and B2B channel, with full P&L ownership and the opportunity to shape commercial strategy alongside senior stakeholders.
The business has ambitious growth plans and is investing heavily in innovation, category development and customer partnerships. If you enjoy opening new doors, building long-term relationships and turning opportunities into commercial success, you will find plenty of scope to make a visible impact.
There is also a clear route into more senior leadership positions, making this an excellent move for someone who wants to accelerate their commercial career within a fast-growing FMCG environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Growing existing Foodservice, wholesale and B2B accounts whilst identifying and securing new commercial opportunities.
- Building strategic account plans that deliver sustainable growth, profitability and customer value.
- Leading negotiations, forecasting, promotional planning and day-to-day commercial management.
- Working closely with category, marketing, finance and operations teams to deliver successful customer outcomes.
What You’ll Need to Bring
- Experience managing Foodservice, wholesale or B2B accounts within FMCG or food manufacturing.
- A proven track record of winning new business and developing long-term customer relationships.
- Strong commercial and analytical capability, including P&L ownership and solution-led selling.
- The resilience, energy and self-motivation needed to thrive in a fast-paced growth business.
