About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven National Sales Manager to lead their sales operations for the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) division. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to manage sales strategies and teams from anywhere in the UK. You will be responsible for developing and executing national sales plans, driving revenue growth, and expanding market presence across all key accounts and channels. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership qualities and a deep understanding of the FMCG landscape, working autonomously to achieve ambitious targets and contribute significantly to the company's expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic national sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand customer base.
- Lead, coach, and motivate a remote sales team to achieve individual and team objectives.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify new business opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key retail partners and distributors.
- Oversee the sales pipeline, forecasting, and reporting processes using CRM systems.
- Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to ensure alignment on go-to-market strategies.
Requirements
- Extensive experience (7+ years) in sales management within the FMCG sector .
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a national capacity.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a geographically dispersed remote sales team effectively.
- Strong understanding of sales channels, distribution networks, and customer relationship management.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with sales enablement tools and CRM software.
