About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Network Installation Engineer to join their technical team. This position is fully remote, focusing on the remote setup, configuration, and deployment of network infrastructure for clients across various industries. You will be responsible for ensuring that client networks are set up efficiently and securely, adhering to best practices and client specifications. Key Responsibilities
- Perform remote installation and configuration of network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Conduct comprehensive testing and validation of network setups to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Provide remote technical support to clients during the installation and onboarding process.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity and configuration issues remotely.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation for network configurations, procedures, and client setups.
- Collaborate with sales and support teams to ensure smooth project delivery and client satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience in network installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.
- Proficiency with network hardware from various vendors and network management tools.
- Excellent remote communication skills and the ability to guide clients through technical processes.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA or equivalent are highly desirable.
