Network Operations Centre (NOC) Analyst

About the Role

Our client is seeking a vigilant Network Operations Centre (NOC) Analyst to join their expanding team, operating remotely with potential occasional site visits to Bradford . This critical role involves the continuous monitoring of network infrastructure, identifying and resolving potential issues before they impact service delivery. You will be the first line of defence in maintaining the stability and performance of our client's telecom networks . This position is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, possess strong analytical skills, and thrive in a dynamic, remote working environment, contributing to network resilience from anywhere.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor network performance and availability using advanced NOC monitoring tools .
• Respond to alerts and alarms, diagnose network issues, and initiate appropriate resolution procedures.
• Document all network events, incidents, and resolutions clearly and concisely in the ticketing system.
• Perform initial troubleshooting steps for network faults and escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams.
• Collaborate with other technical teams to ensure timely resolution of network incidents.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of NOC operational procedures and best practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience working in a Network Operations Centre or similar IT support role.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
• Familiarity with network monitoring software (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios) and ticketing systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively in a remote setting.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Good communication skills, with the ability to relay technical information clearly.
