About the Role

Our client seeks a vigilant and proactive Network Operations Centre (NOC) Analyst to join their essential team in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire . In this critical role, you will be the first line of defence in monitoring and maintaining the integrity of our client's expansive telecommunications network. Your primary responsibility will be to detect, diagnose, and resolve network incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to services. Key Responsibilities

• Actively monitor network performance using advanced NOC tools and dashboards to identify potential issues and anomalies.
• Respond promptly to network alerts and incidents, performing initial diagnostics and troubleshooting to determine root causes.
• Escalate critical incidents to senior support teams according to established protocols, providing clear and concise information.
• Document all network events, actions taken, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Contribute to the improvement of monitoring systems and operational procedures.
• Liaise with customer support and engineering teams to ensure timely resolution of service impacting issues.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a Network Operations Centre (NOC) or similar IT support role.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, Zabbix) and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
• Understanding of core networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and common protocols.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for clear reporting and escalation.
• Willingness to work shifts as part of a rotational schedule.
