Our client is seeking a vigilant Network Operations Centre (NOC) Analyst to join their team in Milton Keynes . You will be at the forefront of ensuring network uptime, identifying and resolving performance issues, and maintaining the security of the network environment. Key Responsibilities

• Actively monitor network performance and availability using advanced NOC tools and systems.
• Respond to network alerts and incidents, performing initial diagnosis and escalation as required.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity and performance issues for various network devices.
• Document all network events, actions taken, and resolutions in the incident management system.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to implement network changes and upgrades.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of NOC procedures and best practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience working in a Network Operations Centre or similar IT support role.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP , routing protocols, and firewalls.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Nagios, or Zabbix.
• Experience with incident management and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Ability to work effectively in a shift-based environment, including nights and weekends if applicable.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
