Key Responsibilities

• Monitor network traffic and security logs for suspicious activities and potential security breaches.
• Investigate security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and develop remediation plans.
• Implement and manage security tools, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and SIEM platforms.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address security weaknesses.
• Develop and update security policies, procedures, and best practices in line with industry standards.
• Provide security awareness training and guidance to technical and non-technical staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in network security, preferably within a telecommunications environment.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, cybersecurity principles, and common attack vectors.
• Experience with SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint security solutions.
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO 27001 or NIST.
• Relevant certifications like CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CISSP are highly valued.
