The Company
This well-established independent practice has served Cambridge and South Cambridgeshire for over 30 years, and its owner still sees patients every week. Newly qualified optometrists are mentored by the owner and supported by a small, settled team.

The Position
You will join the Cambridge practice as a full-time Optometrist, seeing a varied mix of NHS and private patients, from students and academics to local families. Appointments are extended while you build speed and confidence, and the owner is always available to talk through complex cases. Trains reach London King's Cross in under an hour, and Cambridge's cycle-friendly streets, riverside walks and market make it an easy city to live in. This suits a newly qualified optometrist, whether your OSCE results are in or on their way, who wants hands-on mentoring from day one. The salary is £52,000.
