About the Role

Our client is seeking a reliable and experienced Night Cleaning Team Leader to manage their cleaning operations during overnight shifts in Liverpool . This supervisory role is crucial for ensuring that all designated areas are cleaned to the highest standards while the facilities are largely unoccupied. You will lead a team of cleaning operatives, delegate tasks, conduct quality checks, and ensure adherence to safety protocols. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, exceptional organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining a pristine and safe environment overnight.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of cleaning operatives during night shifts.
• Delegate cleaning tasks effectively, ensuring all areas are serviced according to schedule and quality standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of completed work, providing feedback and making necessary adjustments.
• Ensure all health, safety, and security procedures are strictly followed by the team.
• Manage the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment for the night shift, reporting needs.
• Act as the primary point of contact for any issues or emergencies that arise during the night shift.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a cleaning role, with demonstrated supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Proven ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Strong understanding of cleaning techniques and health & safety regulations.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Reliability and a strong work ethic, with the ability to work unsupervised.
• Flexibility to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
