About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and passionate Nursery Manager to lead their well-established childcare facility in Leicester . This pivotal role involves overseeing all daily operations, ensuring the highest standards of childcare, education, and safety are consistently met. You will be responsible for fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged 0-5, managing a dedicated team of educators, and building strong relationships with parents and guardians. Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with all statutory regulations and policies.
• Lead, mentor, and support a team of childcare professionals, conducting regular performance reviews and professional development.
• Develop and implement an engaging, age-appropriate curriculum that promotes child development and learning.
• Maintain exemplary health, safety, and safeguarding practices throughout the nursery premises.
• Manage budgets, resources, and admissions, ensuring efficient operational planning and execution.
• Foster positive and collaborative relationships with parents, guardians, and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a senior nursery management or deputy role.
• Relevant childcare qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or above, Early Years Professional Status).
• In-depth knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and safeguarding procedures.
• Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
