About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and passionate Nursery Manager to lead their well-established childcare facility in Leicester . This pivotal role involves overseeing all daily operations, ensuring the highest standards of childcare, education, and safety are consistently met. You will be responsible for fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged 0-5, managing a dedicated team of educators, and building strong relationships with parents and guardians. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with all statutory regulations and policies.
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of childcare professionals, conducting regular performance reviews and professional development.
- Develop and implement an engaging, age-appropriate curriculum that promotes child development and learning.
- Maintain exemplary health, safety, and safeguarding practices throughout the nursery premises.
- Manage budgets, resources, and admissions, ensuring efficient operational planning and execution.
- Foster positive and collaborative relationships with parents, guardians, and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a senior nursery management or deputy role.
- Relevant childcare qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or above, Early Years Professional Status).
- In-depth knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and safeguarding procedures.
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
