About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Nursery Manager to lead their flagship childcare facility in Leicester . This pivotal role involves overseeing all daily operations, ensuring the highest standards of care and education are met, and fostering a nurturing environment for children aged 0-5. You will be instrumental in managing a team of childcare professionals, developing engaging learning programs, and maintaining strong relationships with parents and guardians. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and lead a team of nursery staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Develop and implement a stimulating and age-appropriate curriculum that adheres to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Ensure the safety, well-being, and educational development of all children within the nursery.
- Maintain excellent communication channels with parents, providing regular updates on their child's progress and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Oversee budget management, resource allocation, and compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.
- Conduct regular staff meetings and continuous professional development sessions to enhance team skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a senior or management role within a nursery or early years setting.
- Thorough understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage budgets effectively and ensure operational efficiency.
