About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Nursery Manager to lead their vibrant childcare facility in Aberdeen . This pivotal role involves overseeing the daily operations, ensuring the highest standards of care and education are met, and fostering a nurturing environment for children aged 0-5. You will be instrumental in driving the nursery's success, managing a team of passionate educators, and maintaining strong relationships with parents and guardians, contributing to a positive and stimulating atmosphere that supports child development and well-being within the local community.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a creative and engaging curriculum in line with national standards and best practices.
- Manage and mentor a team of childcare professionals, including recruitment, training, and performance reviews.
- Ensure compliance with all legal requirements, health and safety regulations, and safeguarding policies.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, providing regular feedback and fostering a supportive partnership.
- Oversee the nursery budget, manage resources effectively, and ensure efficient day-to-day operations.
- Conduct regular staff meetings and in-service training to promote professional development and team cohesion.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Nursery Management or senior childcare role.
- A relevant childcare qualification, such as a Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent.
- In-depth knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and safeguarding procedures.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and staff effectively.
- A genuine passion for early childhood education and development.
