Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the nursery, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Develop and implement a high-quality early years curriculum that promotes learning and development.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, policies, and procedures related to childcare.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, providing regular feedback on their child's progress.
• Lead, mentor, and support a team of childcare professionals, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Oversee budget management, including fees, expenses, and procurement of supplies.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a childcare management or supervisory role.
• Relevant qualifications in Early Years Education (e.g., SVQ Level 4, BA in Childhood Practice) or equivalent.
• In-depth knowledge of child development principles and Scottish childcare regulations .
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using nursery management software and standard office applications.
