About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Manager to lead their childcare facility in Leicester . Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the nursery, including staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Develop and implement the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, ensuring high-quality educational provision.
• Lead, motivate, and support a team of childcare professionals, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Conduct regular staff performance reviews and identify professional development needs.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations, including Ofsted standards and safeguarding policies.
• Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with parents, carers, and external agencies.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a senior childcare or management role.
• Relevant childcare qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or above in Children's Care, Learning and Development).
• Thorough understanding of the EYFS framework, safeguarding procedures, and relevant legislation.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational abilities.
• Enhanced DBS check will be required.
