About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Nursery Manager to lead their dedicated team in Leeds . You will be responsible for the overall management and strategic development of the nursery, ensuring the delivery of outstanding childcare and education. This leadership role requires a passion for early years, strong operational skills, and the ability to inspire and motivate staff. You will ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and foster a positive, inclusive environment for children, parents, and employees, driving the nursery's reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring the highest standards of care and education are met.
• Lead, manage, and support the nursery team, promoting professional development and a positive work culture.
• Develop and implement effective policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
• Manage budgets, resources, and occupancy levels to ensure financial viability and sustainability.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with parents and the wider community, promoting the nursery's services and values.

Requirements

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare and Education, with a degree or management qualification preferred.
• Proven experience in a senior leadership role within a nursery or early years setting.
• In-depth knowledge of the EYFS framework, safeguarding procedures, and Ofsted requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong business acumen and financial management capabilities.
