Key Responsibilities

• Implement the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum effectively.
• Observe, assess, and record children's progress and development.
• Create and maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Plan and deliver engaging play-based learning experiences.
• Adhere to all nursery policies and procedures, including safeguarding and health and safety.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Childcare and Education is required.
• Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting.
• Thorough understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for early childhood education and a patient, caring nature.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in Newcastle upon Tyne .
