Nursery Nurse (Full-time)

About the Role

Our client is looking for a qualified and enthusiastic Nursery Nurse to join their dedicated team in Oxford . This role is primarily based within the nursery, providing exceptional care and educational experiences for children aged 0-5, but offers a hybrid element allowing for some administrative or planning tasks to be conducted remotely. You will play a key role in creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment that supports children's holistic development. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality childcare and education, planning and implementing activities that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) .
• Observe and monitor children's progress, providing detailed feedback and creating individual learning plans.
• Ensure the safety, health, and well-being of all children, adhering strictly to nursery policies and safeguarding procedures.
• Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social, emotional, and physical development.
• Liaise effectively with parents and carers, sharing updates on their child's progress and involving them in their learning journey.
• Undertake administrative duties, including some remote planning or record-keeping, to support nursery operations.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Childcare and Education.
• Proven experience working with children in an early years setting.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework, child protection legislation, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and observation skills.
• Ability to work flexibly, demonstrating initiative both on-site and with remote tasks.
• A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to safeguarding.
