About the Role

Our client is looking for a caring and attentive Nursery Nurse to join their friendly team in Sunderland . Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and supervision for children within the nursery setting.
• Assist in the planning and delivery of a range of stimulating educational activities.
• Observe and document children's progress, ensuring all learning and development milestones are met.
• Maintain a safe, hygienic, and stimulating environment for all children.
• Support children with their personal care needs, including feeding and nappy changes.
• Communicate effectively with parents and carers, sharing updates on their child's day and development.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Childcare and Education .
• Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting is essential.
• Understanding of the EYFS framework and child protection guidelines.
• Strong observational skills and the ability to record progress accurately.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• A genuine passion for working with young children.
