Nursery Nurse

About the Role

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and caring Nursery Nurse to join their well-established setting in Belfast . You will be an integral part of the care team, responsible for fostering a safe, stimulating, and engaging environment for children from birth to five years old. This role focuses on supporting children's development through play and providing high-quality early years education in line with the EYFS framework. You will work closely with colleagues to ensure the well-being and progress of each child, contributing positively to the nursery's reputation for excellence in Northern Ireland .

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and education to a designated group of children, meeting their individual needs.
• Plan and deliver a range of stimulating and age-appropriate activities, encouraging children's curiosity and learning.
• Observe and accurately record children's progress, sharing insights with parents and the wider team.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times, adhering strictly to safeguarding policies and procedures.
• Maintain excellent communication with parents and guardians, fostering strong partnerships to support children's development at home and in the nursery.

Requirements

• A recognised Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education.
• Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or childcare setting.
• A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development milestones.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to safeguarding.
