About the Role

Our client is recruiting for a qualified Nursery Nurse to join their dynamic childcare setting in Belfast . You will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5, creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment that encourages learning and development. This role involves working collaboratively with a dedicated team to support children’s individual needs and foster their growth. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional care and education to children, following the curriculum and EYFS guidelines.
• Conduct regular observations and assessments of children's progress, maintaining accurate records.
• Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children at all times.
• Plan and lead stimulating play-based learning activities.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's development and daily experiences.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe learning environment.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience as a Nursery Nurse or in a similar early years role.
• Thorough understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies.
• A patient, caring, and enthusiastic approach to working with children.
