About the Role
Our client is seeking a nurturing and experienced Nursery Practitioner to join their vibrant team in Cardiff . This role is essential in providing high-quality care and education for young children in a stimulating and safe environment. You will be responsible for implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, fostering children's development, and building strong relationships with both children and their families. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding care and education that adheres to the principles of the EYFS framework .
- Plan and execute a range of stimulating activities that cater to the individual needs and interests of each child.
- Observe, record, and report on children's development, working closely with parents to support their learning at home.
- Maintain a safe, hygienic, and stimulating environment for all children, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social, emotional, and cognitive growth through play-based learning.
Requirements
- A recognised qualification in childcare, such as a Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education.
- Experience working within a nursery or similar early years setting.
- A solid understanding of child protection and safeguarding procedures.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
