Key Responsibilities

• Implement engaging and educational activities in line with the EYFS framework.
• Observe children's progress, document their learning journeys, and provide constructive feedback to parents.
• Ensure the safety, health, and well-being of all children under your care at all times.
• Support children's emotional development and foster positive social interactions.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness within the nursery environment.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure seamless nursery operations.

Requirements

• A minimum of Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in childcare or a related field.
• Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting.
• Good understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• A patient, warm, and nurturing disposition towards children.
• Knowledge of the Cardiff and Welsh early years framework is advantageous.
