Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality, age-appropriate activities that promote children's learning and development across all areas.
• Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children, following established policies and procedures, including safeguarding.
• Observe, record, and assess children's progress, contributing to their individual learning journeys and providing feedback to parents.
• Build positive and trusting relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
• Maintain a stimulating, clean, and organised learning environment, ensuring all resources are used effectively and safely.
• Support colleagues and contribute positively to the overall team effort.

Requirements

• A Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years Education, or equivalent.
• Proven experience working within a nursery or early years setting.
• Thorough understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and manage time efficiently.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
