Our client, a cherished local nursery, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join their vibrant team in Aberdeen . Key Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
• Observe and track children's progress, maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with parents and guardians about their child's development.
• Ensure the safety, health, and well-being of all children, adhering strictly to nursery policies and procedures.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all children feel valued and supported.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a stimulating and engaging curriculum, participating in team meetings and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the nursery setting.

Requirements

• Relevant qualification in early years education or childcare (e.g., SVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
• Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or similar setting.
• Strong knowledge of child development theories and best practices in early years care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Valid Disclosure Scotland check and up-to-date First Aid certification.
