Nursery Practitioner

About the Role

Our client is seeking a nurturing and energetic Nursery Practitioner to contribute to their well-regarded childcare setting in Coventry . This role involves supporting the daily care and education of young children, providing a safe, stimulating, and fun environment. You will work closely with a team of dedicated professionals to deliver high-quality childcare that meets the individual needs of each child. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering a varied and stimulating programme of activities for children aged 0-5 years.
• Ensure all children feel safe, secure, and valued within the nursery environment.
• Support children's learning through play, observation, and assessment.
• Maintain accurate daily records, including nappy changes, sleep times, and activities.
• Collaborate with parents and carers to foster strong home-school links and support children's ongoing development.

Requirements

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare and Education (or equivalent).
• Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
• A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
• Good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
