About the Role

Our client is seeking a nurturing and experienced Nursery Practitioner to join their vibrant childcare setting in Newcastle upon Tyne . You will be an integral part of a dedicated team, responsible for providing exceptional care and education to young children. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote child development across all learning areas.
• Observe, assess, and record children's progress, providing feedback to parents and colleagues.
• Ensure the safety, health, and well-being of all children under your care, adhering to strict safeguarding policies.
• Build positive and supportive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and stimulating learning environment within the nursery rooms.

Requirements

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent recognised qualification.
• Demonstrable experience working within an early years setting.
• A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their learning journey.
