A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join a vibrant childcare setting in Sunderland . You will work directly with children, supporting their learning and well-being through creative activities and individualised care. Joining a dedicated team in Tyne and Wear , you will help ensure children receive the best possible start in their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage children in a variety of age-appropriate play and learning activities designed to promote physical, cognitive, and social development.
• Assist in the daily care of children, including feeding, changing, and maintaining hygiene standards.
• Observe and record children's progress, contributing to their individual learning journals.
• Ensure a safe and secure environment for all children, following all nursery policies and procedures.
• Communicate with parents and carers about their child's day and developmental milestones.

Requirements

• Minimum Level 2 qualification in Childcare or equivalent.
• Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is advantageous.
• A genuine passion for working with young children and understanding of their needs.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
