About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join their well-established childcare facility in Birmingham . This role involves fostering a stimulating and secure environment where children can learn, grow, and develop essential life skills. You will work closely with a team of experienced professionals to deliver high-quality care and education, ensuring that each child's unique needs are met. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and care for children aged from birth to five years, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Develop and deliver a range of creative and educational activities tailored to different age groups and developmental stages.
• Observe children's progress, documenting key achievements and areas for development in their learning journals.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress, behavior, and daily activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating playroom environment, ensuring all resources are safe and accessible.

Requirements

• Minimum of a Level 2 qualification in Childcare and Education or equivalent.
• Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting is highly desirable.
• Good understanding of child protection and safeguarding procedures.
• Strong observation and assessment skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute positively to the nursery environment.
